Prof. Amos Njuguna is Managing Director of Melanel Consulting. He is a Professor of Finance and immediate former Deputy Vice Chancellor for Transformative Teaching, Learning and Research at the United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa). He is also Chairperson of the Network of Impact Evaluation Researchers in Africa (NIERA).
He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, an MBA from Egerton University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (Kenya) and Certified Secretary (Kenya).
With more than two decades of experience in finance, governance, policy-relevant research and evidence-informed decision-making, he has led multi-country projects on financial inclusion, SME resilience, youth and women’s economic empowerment, and impact evaluation.
At Melanel, he provides strategic leadership across ESG, organisational development and impact intelligence engagements.
